The Trend

Lavender is one of the standout colour trends for SS24, with brands like Michael Kors, Loewe and Carolina Herrera all championing the shade. Back with a fresh new feel, you’ll find it filtering its way into all areas of your life. On the high street, COS offers some of the best tailoring, while more contemporary brands like Acne and Isabel Marant have also breathed new life into the look, focusing on cosy knits, as well as bolder shades and oversized silhouettes. Of course, as is often the case with fashion trends, shades of lavender are influencing everything from beauty to interiors and even car exteriors. From Chanel’s Le Vernis Nail Colour, 135 Immortelle, to Glossier make-up palettes and Porsche’s new all-electric Macan in 'Provence' lavender, here’s what we’re loving. Plus, the team behind Porsche's newest style tell us why it's the colour to covet.

The colour purple has REPEATEDLY EMERGED AS A TREND IN FASHION. We wanted to pick up on this shade and develop it into a darker colour that is more suitable for EVERYDAY USE, but still polarising as well as light and elegant. IT’S YOUNG AND PLAYFUL, MATURE AND TASTEFUL.

Michael Kors S/S 2024

Provence is a colour that reminds us of the lavender fields in the South of France. It has THE POWER TO EVOKE MEMORIES. With our new electric vehicle, we want to do the same. Every year, we design ten to fifteen new colours, some of which are CHOSEN FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT - this year Provence is coming into play.
