Dear Readers,

Usually, September is the beginning of our busy season, but this year myself and our entire team are breathing a sigh of relief as perhaps our maddest month on record ends. It’s possible we pushed ourselves a little too hard, however not just the volume, but the quality of the content we’ve produced over the last month has been so inspiring it makes me wonder what we can do next – so apologies in advance to the team.

Our latest city guide went live – if you want to know which are the most stylish shops, restaurants, museums and hotels in Paris, we have you covered. Dubai (naturally), Berlin and Barcelona are all in the works before the year ends too. We announced our restaurant awards winners and from the end of this week, you’ll be able to access our full short list in every category on site; consider it your definitive London restaurant guide going forward.

We had our very first live shopping event at the beginning of the month – you can watch mine and Polly’s chaotic try-on of the best new high street buys here, or you can tune in tonight when Sapna and I will be talking you through everything from silver boots to killer coats. Unlike the SheerLuxe Show or our social channels, you can quite literally click through to the products as we go, plus ask us questions and chat to us as well. Expect lots more to come in that department. But it’s not just fashion doing great things – over in the beauty space, Becky had a Zoom call with Hailey Bieber to pick her brains on all things skin, and if you didn’t see the latter’s quick-fire questions over on our TikTok, you’re missing out on her London recommendations.

The quality of the content we’ve produced over the last month HAS BEEN SO INSPIRING, it makes me WONDER WHAT WE CAN DO NEXT.

I don’t play favourites with our content, but the Black Beauty podcast series, spearheaded by Sherri, would be up there if I did. Hosted by the unstoppable Rhea Cartwright, I loved their conversation with Adeola about her career trajectory and beauty advice; tomorrow, the second edition, starring hair legend Charlotte Mensah, drops on all podcast channels. Plus, Georgie and I had a catch up in place of the team podcast on Friday – if you’re intrigued about our Middle East launch, plans for the future or just what we’re buying for autumn/winter, it’s all in there.

After a lot of travelling, I’m excited to get stuck into some London newness this October. I’m going to check out the new Bamford Brompton Cross spa – rumour has it it’s the hottest new pampering destination in London – as well as hitting the latest opening from the Bao group in Marylebone. I’m sitting down to lunch with Victoria Beckham at a London hotspot later this week to celebrate the launch of her fragrance, plus I’m really keen to check out the capital’s coolest new hotel openings, from the show-stopping Raffles OWO to the chic One Sloane, the brainchild of the Hotel Costes founders. Outside of London, Lu and I are heading to Bicester Village for a BTS special – better start saving my pennies – and I’ll be in Porto for a long weekend, so do let me know if you have any must-visits.

Have a great October,
