Tuna Crostini

The perfect summertime accompaniment to barbecues, cocktail parties or just a casual summer lunch in the garden, if you're unable to go to Italy this summer, these crostini are an excellent placeholder. Plus, there's barely any cooking involved...

Ingredients
2 pouches of Good Catch® Mediterranean Plant-Based Tuna
32g of plant-based cream cheese
64g of plant-based parmesan, shredded
64g of plant-based mozzarella, shredded
128g of plant-based cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 a celery, small dice
10g of chives, thinly sliced
17g of red onion, small dice
¼ tsp of black pepper, freshly ground
16 (½ in) slices French baguette
Plant-based sour cream, for garnish
Fresh chives, for garnish
Method
Step 1

Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F.

Step 2

Combine all ingredients, except for the bread, and mix together well to create a consistent spread.

Step 3

Evenly spread 2 tbsp of the mixture onto each baguette slice and place on a parchment-lined sheet tray.

Step 4

Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and there is a golden crust on the top.

Step 5

Serve warm and top with plant-based sour cream and fresh chives.

Step 6

Make it a meal with a salad.
