This Charles Dickens sweeping classic gets a new four-part adaptation, with Kit Harington taking on the role of Sydney Carton, the brilliant but deeply troubled lawyer at the centre of the story. Set between London and Paris in the years leading up to the French Revolution, it begins when Lucie Manette (Mirren Mack) discovers that the father she thought had died almost 20 years earlier may still be alive. When French aristocrat Charles Darnay (François Civil) is arrested for treason, Lucie turns to Carton for help, drawing the three into the novel’s famous love triangle as political tensions reach breaking point.

Colin From Accounts, BBC

Three years after Gordon’s disastrous proposal, the final season of this brilliantly offbeat Australian sitcom finds him and Ashley in rather less romantic circumstances. Both have moved on to new relationships and their brewery is struggling, while Colin, thankfully, is doing just fine. A chance encounter brings the former couple back into each other’s orbit and it quickly becomes clear there are still feelings there – although a fair amount of baggage stands in their way.
