Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson, Channel 4

Dan Reed’s 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland had a monumental impact, forever altering the public perception of one of the music industry's biggest legends. Through the detailed, harrowing accounts of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the film brought forward serious allegations of sexual abuse against Michael Jackson. Now, this follow-up dives into their ongoing, gruelling legal battle with Jackson’s estate, which fiercely denies the claims. As the courtroom drama unfolds, the controversy is further stirred by the launch of a glittering West End musical celebrating the King of Pop.

WEDNESDAY

Good American Family, Hulu

Inspired by the viral story of Ukrainian orphan Natalia Grace Barnett – whose adoptive parents claimed she was an adult posing as a child – this drama tells a chilling tale of suspicion and fear. A Midwestern couple adopt a young girl with a rare form of dwarfism, only to question her age and identity. As doubts grow, their once-happy family is thrust into a battle fought in the tabloids, the courtroom – and their own home. Told from multiple perspectives, the series explores how trauma and bias blur the lines between truth and deception. It stars Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy), Mark Duplass (The Morning Show) and Imogen Faith Reid, with appearances from Dulé Hill (The West Wing), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Sarayu Blue (Never Have I Ever) and Jenny O’Hara (Big Love).
