Taste Of London
This London mainstay offers guests the chance to sample food from some of the world’s most exclusive kitchens. New names at this year’s five-day festival include Dim Sum Terrace, soon to open in Harrods, Sicilian-inspired Norma, MasterChef winner Alex Webb on Park Lane, while Big Mamma Group, which recently opened Jacuzzi, will be putting on an Italian feast from its iconic trattorias. Make sure to book ahead for wine tastings, workshops and cooking demonstrations.

For an unforgettable dining experience, book tickets to Yoxman at Wilderness Reserve, where three of the UK’s top chefs – with four Michelin stars – between them will be serving up a menu of exceptional food (all with a wild and local emphasis) and entertainment. Tickets give you access to a full weekend itinerary, kicking off with a champagne reception followed by a gala dinner, and opportunities to mingle with the chefs throughout the weekend. Expect Michelin-level dining at every meal and plenty of opportunities to unwind in the Wilderness Bamford spa.

Meatopia brings together the very best BBQ chefs for a full-on weekend of smoking, grilling and charring. Across the event, more than 70 cooks will set London’s Tobacco Dock ablaze with food, drink and music as the meat masters showcase both techniques and dishes using nothing but sustainable wood and charcoal, and responsibly sourced meat, fish and veg. Due to popular demand, an extra day has been added to this year’s event.

Pub in The Park
Tom Kerridge’s annual food festival is back on the road. Each of the weekends will feature Tom’s two Michelin-starred pubs, The Hand & Flowers and The Coach, plus a selection of other great UK restaurants and Michelin-starred chefs serving their most popular dishes. Every event will celebrate the best food the country has to offer, combined with great live music, chef demonstrations, top-quality shopping and family friendly festivities. Music across the festivals will include Gabrielle, Toploader, Ronan Keating, Sam Ryder, Tinie Tempah, House Gospel Choir and Sister Sledge.

Blenheim Palace Food Festival
One of the UK’s largest outdoor food festivals is back for a ninth year. In the grounds of Blenheim Palace, the three-day event will be headlined by Raymond Blanc, who has handpicked the line-up of celebrity chefs and experts. Expect a top-end selection of food and drink spanning artisanal producers and street food vendors, interactive masterclasses, tastings and plenty of fun for all the family. Tickets will also give you access to Blenheim’s park and gardens – ideal for little ones who need to let off steam.

Dorset Seafood Festival
The Dorset Seafood Festival is set to return to Weymouth this September. This much-loved event – Europe’s largest seafood festival – attracts visitors to the Jurassic coast to enjoy the sunshine, a glass (or bottle) of Miraval wine and, of course, amazing seafood. Alongside chef demonstrations, live music, street food and cookery classes for children, the organisers have added a chill-out zone, a green seas initiative and water displays.

London Restaurant Festival
London Restaurant Festival will return in June for its 15th edition. In celebration of the capital’s diverse dining scene, throughout the month restaurants across the city will be hosting events, tours and tastings, and offering exclusive menus. Highlights include a pasta masterclass at Burro e Salvia, a three-course brunch at Smith & Wollensky, an evening of Indian cuisine at Darjeeling Express, an intimate dinner at the newly opened, two Michelin-starred JOIA, and a seasonal menu at Nessa. This year’s event also features new experiences including ‘Restaurant Hopping Tours’, which are a chance to try four restaurants in one night with a tasting plate and drink at each one.

Savour is London’s newest food and drink festival. Set in the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, Savour will host some of the most sought-after restaurants and bars the UK has to offer in one venue. Expect to see 10 Greek Street, Kricket, Frenchie Covent Garden, Polpo and Cubitt House as well as Lebanese street food from Lil Watan, brioche sandwiches from La Roulotte, gyozas from Rainbo and hash browns from Hash Hut. Savour has challenged chefs cooking across the weekends to create a £3 signature dish, giving festival goers the chance to vote for their favourite.

Malton Food Lovers Festival
One of the UK’s biggest free food events, the Malton Food Lovers Festival returns with two weekenders in 2023. Its 14th year is set to be the biggest yet, welcoming food and drink fans in their thousands to try produce from hundreds of independent and artisan producers from across Yorkshire. There will also be street food from around the globe, as well as talks, tastings and demonstrations from the country’s top culinary talent, and live music and family entertainment.

The Big Feastival
Blur bassist and cheesemonger Alex James’s annual festival is arguably one of the best at getting the balance between food and music just right. Chefs in attendance will include Nathan Outlaw, Big Zuu, DJ BBQ, Anna Haugh, Asma Khan and Ching He Huang, while Freya Ridings, Sigrid, Newton Faulkner, Mae Muller, Melanie C and Example take to the main stage. Familes should be sure to check out Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, featuring horses, cattle and goats; and for something more active, Circus School offers balloon modelling, tightrope workshops, limbo contests and more.
