Covent Garden x SheerLuxe Festive Shopping Day

On Saturday 6th December join the SL team in Covent Garden for a festive day out. For one day only, you can enjoy exclusive offers, gifting workshops and limited-edition treats as the streets throughout the Seven Dials neighbourhood go traffic-free for the day (from 11.30am to 7pm). Expect discounts, offers and special activations at stores and restaurants like Charlotte Tilbury, Dinny Hall, Odd Muse, Elemis, Byredo, Café Kitsuné, Away and more. Then at 6pm, gather under the festive lights surrounding the famous Seven Dials Sundial Pillar for our singalong carol concert, led by the Same Voices choir. Toklas Bakery Christmas Market

On Saturday 6th December, Toklas will host its annual Christmas Market, with festive food, drink and gifts from some of the UK’s best independent makers. Toklas will showcase its Christmas range – from puddings and stollen to mince pies, biscotti and wines – alongside hampers and seasonal treats. Joining the line‑up are Pump Street Chocolate, Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, Sea Sisters, Kouttone panettone, Walgate Wines, Fielden Whisky and more, as well as ceramics, homeware and fragrances. Black Lines Oat Nog will be served from the bakery counter, and with last year’s market selling out by 1pm, early arrival is advised. Entry is free.

Hôtel Costes Pop‑Up, At Sloane

This month, Chelsea hotel At Sloane has transformed its reception desk into a boutique showcasing signature pieces from its sister property, Paris’s legendary Hôtel Costes. This will be the first time they’ve been available outside rue Saint‑Honoré. Shoppers can choose from scented candles, indulgent jams, artisan chocolate, silk eye masks, a selection of vinyl and more. Guests can also enjoy festive menus in The Dining Room, alongside a seasonal display by François‑Joseph Graf and Maison Moulié.

The Playboy Of The Western World At National Theatre

From Thursday 4th December, John Millington Synge’s classic play hits the stage at National Theatre’s Lyttelton. Directed by Caitríona McLaughlin, the production stars Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Éanna Hardwicke (The Sixth Commandment) and Siobhán McSweeney (Derry Girls). Set in rural Ireland, the story follows Christy Mahon, a young man who walks into a pub claiming to have killed his father – and unexpectedly becomes a local hero. Tickets from £25.

Moët Mic Moments at BAM Karaoke 

BAM Karaoke Box Victoria has teamed up with Moët & Chandon for a festive takeover. Expect a cosy winter terrace dressed with branded blankets, a limited‑edition cocktail list and even a vending machine dispensing mini bottles of Moët Champagne. Ideal for a festive day with the girls, guests can order Parisian‑inspired dishes and caviar to their private karaoke rooms. Alongside the food and fizz, BAM is hosting Mariah Carey and Christmas throwback brunches every Saturday from 2pm (£39pp), as well as DJ and open mic nights. Jo Malone London has returned to one of our favourite country hotels, The Grove in Hertfordshire, for another season of scent‑inspired festivities. The Mansion will be dressed with signature cream boxes, a golden bow and playful installations, while the Martini Lounge hosts a pop‑up shop complete with Jo Malone London’s iconic gift wrap. Highlights include a Christmas afternoon tea (£70 or £85 with Laurent‑Perrier) featuring creations inspired by the ‘English Pear & Freesia’ scent, plus wreath‑making and bauble‑decorating masterclasses (£160 including champagne, tea and a gift).
