Inside SheerLuxe’s Annual Diwali & Bandi Chhor Divas Dinner
Bringing together actors, musicians, CEOs and influencers, the night began with welcome cocktails courtesy of Maharaja Drinks. Guests sipped on Terai Gin creations before moving on to Fratelli Chardonnay and Grover Zampa Vijay Amritraj Red.
As for the food, Empire Empire outdid itself. The meal started with a twist of masala fries followed by kale patta chaat, achari aloo and perfectly spiced chicken malai tikka – all served with a trio of chutneys that balanced heat with freshness. For mains, guests tucked into indulgent butter chicken, rich dal makhani and the standout of the night – lobster biryani. This show-stopping dish was a clear crowd-pleaser, while vegetarians enjoyed a seriously flavourful mushroom biryani alternative. Dessert was a gulab jamun cheesecake – a creamy, fragrant fusion that rounded off the night.
Maison Margaux took charge of the impressive table settings and glassware. Elsewhere, our friends at Byredo generously gifted guests their signature scent, Black Saffron – inspired by saffron’s role in Indian tradition, it blends warm notes of saffron and juniper berries with soft blonde woods for a modern, understated finish.
