the LOWDOWN

One of the highlights in our summer calendar, Taste of London is one of the oldest and best food festivals in the city. Over the last 19 years, it’s brought some of London’s best restaurants to Regent’s Park for a week of food and fun and this year is no exception, as the festival will host over 30 restaurants and chefs who will serve over 150 dishes – from Mexican street food to Insta-worthy desserts. Guests can make their way around each food and drink stall, book lessons at Taste’s Cook School and watch chefs cook up a storm at the Fire Pit.

To celebrate, SheerLuxe will team up with Taste of London on the opening night (Wednesday 14th June) to showcase dish highlights, give away tickets and more. Plus, readers can get their hands on a refreshing treat from Mirabeau (offer valid until Sunday 16th April).

Here’s what else to expect across the festival...

the FOOD

From top chefs to some of London’s buzziest restaurants, Taste of London showcases some of the best food across the capital. Here are just a few names we’re excited about:

Cavita
Mexican Adriana Cavita’s dishes are full of flavour, cooked over fire and finished with fresh ingredients. Expect small plates that will transport you to the streets of Oaxaca.

Roti King
Roti King serves some of the best Malaysian food in the capital. Flaky flatbreads come with curries, fluffy rice and spiced skewers. Perfect for a hearty bite.

Big Mamma Group

Get your Italian fix from Big Mamma Group which will serve some of its hero dishes from Ave Mario, Gloria and Circolo Popolare. From pasta to next-level desserts, there's something for everyone.

Dumplings’ Legend

Chinatown’s Taiwanese restaurant has your dumpling fix sorted. From pork belly bao buns to chicken wontons, drizzle yours will lashings of chilli oil.

Hoppers
Inspired by the village toddy shops of Sri Lanka, Hoppers’ food is exciting and flavoured with unique spices. Fingers crossed the goat rotis return this year…

Hot Box
For BBQ favourites and smoked dishes, make a beeline for Hot Box – think burgers, pulled pork wrap and sweet and sticky ribs.

The Treats Club
Taste of London wouldn’t be complete without a dessert or two. Expect hot glazed donuts covered in Nutella, salted caramel, Biscoff and more from The Treats Club.

the EXPERIENCES & ENTERTAINMENT

There’s an exciting line-up of chefs who are set to cook at the Fire Pit, Taste’s immersive cooking demo stage set around a huge pit and grill. Top names include Mexican chef Adriana Caitva, and Hoppers’ Karan Gokani. You’ll also get the chance to catch the ‘DJ BBQ’ – Christian Stevenson – on the grill.

This year, Visit Portugal is showcasing the country's gastronomy. At the churrasco cook school, guests can BBQ Portuguese style alongside two Michelin-starred Henrique Sá Pessoa and Lisboeta's Nuno Mendes.

Keen to improve your cooking skills? Book lessons at the Taste Cook School with hands-on masterclasses led by top chefs. Learn how to create dishes from around the world, before tucking into your creations. The line-up of names is yet to be released, but if last year is anything to go by, we’re expecting good things.

Stop for drinks at one of the many bars across the festival, pick up your free Mirabeau G&T, then enjoy live entertainment in the park. Piano Bar will set the vibe, while DJs and live musicians create the party atmosphere.
