Padium

Set in the heart of Canary Wharf, Padium is the capital’s most design-led padel destination. Created by award-winning studio Ackroyd Lowrie, the space feels more members' club than public sports facility, with atmospheric lighting, sharp branding and a curated calendar of events, from DJ sets to pro-led tournaments. The covered courts mean play happens rain or shine, and the pay-and-play model makes it refreshingly accessible.

House of Racquet

Just a short walk from King’s Cross, you’ll find the female-founded House of Racquet, with four covered courts and a cool clubhouse. Theirs is the first to offer AI-powered analysis of your play, giving professional-level insights on your serves and returns. Off court, you can enjoy a coffee or spicy margarita in the clubhouse, or book a sports massage (delivered by the Ruuby app) to a treatment room.

Rocket Padel

You’ll find Rocket Padel across most corners of London, from Battersea to Ilford, with West London and Croydon sites soon to follow. The Battersea club is particularly smart, with four courts housed in a glass building offering views over the Thames. Accessible in both location and atmosphere, it’s a great place for beginners or families to learn the sport.

Padel Shift

Padel Shift is the Cotswolds-born concept turning padel into a lifestyle. Its first site sits within The Club by Bamford, with a second at Elkstone Studios – think delis, boutiques and rolling views. But it’s not just about location. Padel Shift is cultivating a full-blown culture: pay-and-play access, inclusive WhatsApp groups to find games on the fly, and slick collabs with premium fashion brands. Clubs in West London and Oxfordshire are rumoured to be coming soon.

Gleneagles Sports Club

Gleneagles is primarily about outdoor pursuits, golf and horse riding, but if rain stops play there, the Gleneagles Sporting Club offers indoor options, including tennis and padel courts. It’s unsurprisingly swanky, as is the club store, which has branded merch you can only buy on site.

Racquet Garden Wiltshire

You might not expect to find one of the chicest new padel destinations in rural Wiltshire, but Racquet Garden is exactly that. Conceptualised and run by husband and wife duo Sam and Mary, the space includes three outdoor courts – and one indoor pickleball court – built around a decked-out clubhouse. It’s well worth the excursion.

THE BRANDS TO KNOW

Cuera

Danish brand Cuera was born out of a love for minimal design and high performance. Its edit is clean, functional and elevated. High-neck sports bras and asymmetric skorts come in a perfect palette of neutrals and stonewashed shades, crafted from high-quality recycled fabrics with subtle technical details – think compression, breathability and stretch – designed to move with you whether you’re mid-match or grabbing a post-game coffee.

Oysho

Oysho has long excelled at bridging the gap between fashion and function – and its padel collection proves why it’s still ahead of the curve. It blends sculptural silhouettes with technical fabrics in a palette of soft neutrals, slates and blacks that look just as good post-match as they do mid-rally. Expect ergonomic cuts, breathable mesh panels, and flattering fits across tanks, leggings, dresses and skirts – all with performance in mind.
