A Note From Our Editor...

DORIAN

*Dear Readers,*

Welcome to my first editor's letter. The last few months of the year are our busiest, so I'm excited that January has hit and, with it, the time to embrace the role in full.

It has been a great start to the year at SheerLuxe. We welcomed Louise Roe as a regular host on the SheerLuxe Show and had another lovely response to Jo Good and a Gold edition of the show. We’ve interviewed some really inspirational women – from Sarah de Laguarde who suffered life-changing injuries in a tragic accident last year to an incredible concentration camp survivor to mark Holocaust Memorial Day – and I’m proud of the spotlight we’ve shone on some of the very best pre-loved fashion and interiors this month. Outside of the office, two new baby girls arrived to members of the SL team – naturally, we seem to produce a lot of girls!

After a busy few weeks’ planning, we are starting to see the fruits of our labour and I’m so excited for what’s to come across every category this month. The LuxeGirl podcast is launching – you’ll be able to either watch or listen to an extended version of the Group Chat, along with inspiring stories, vlogs, and fashion and beauty inspo every other week. On SLMan, David Gandy is taking the reins as a guest editor – he’ll be covering fashion, travel, cars and more, and has enlisted a celebrity face or two to provide a very stylish edit that will help the men in your lives live like him, even if they can’t look like him. The SL Community is thriving – keep your eyes peeled for more takeovers and even a fun opportunity to shop the SL team’s wardrobes. Plus, we're giving you workwear inspo with a bumper office fashion shoot, travel guides for Paris, NYC and Copenhagen, and a Parenting show special all to come.

And, if you’re not following both SheerLuxe and LuxeGirl on TikTok, you’re missing all the behind-the-scenes office action, product recommendations and an extra dose of entertainment that has brought in close to 50,000 new followers in the last few weeks.

Finally, here are some things I’ve been loving this month. A special mention goes to the latest book from Celeste Ng. I’m knee-deep in Our Missing Hearts, a family drama set against the backdrop of complicated race relations. As for my fashion wish list – Prada has dropped the silver version of its chunky loafers and I just know my spring wardrobe will be nothing without them. You can also expect to see a lot of the new Zara wool bombers on the SL team – at last count, 9 had bought one already. As for food, I’m excited to try Notting Hill’s latest hot spot Dorian this month, and to return to my new favourite, Straker’s, for scallop flatbread and fresh doughnuts.
