It’s surprising for H&M’s Studio collection to launch without much fanfare – usually when the Scandi label’s elevated selection of pieces hit the shop floor, madness ensues. But this season, the reception has been a little more sedated, much like the collection itself...
There may be bold, silky pops of pink, symptomatic of this year’s coolest trends, but it’s muted neutrals, understated lines and un-fussy finishes that dominate. From crisp white shirting to heavy doses of leather (expect to replace your biker with a leather shirt this autumn), monochrome devotees will be satisfied, whilst chunky cream knitwear, most notably in houndstooth prints, will appease winter fashion’s staunchest advocates.
