Dew Bronze Soft-Focus Effortless Liquid Bronzer, £20 | Saie

Saie never puts a foot wrong and its latest launch is this lightweight, liquid bronzer. The chunky applicator lets you deposit the perfect amount of product in one go, while the matte, bronzed liquid dries down gradually so you can get a seamless blend. It’s pigmented but sheer enough to build up to your individual preference. Despite the lack of shimmer, it still gives your that soft sheen we all want.

Teint Idole Ultra Wear C.E Skin Transforming Bronzer, £44 | Lancôme

When Lancôme and make-up artist Lisa Eldridge collaborate on a formula, you know it’s going to be good. This new, satin bronzer has a silky, serum-like quality to it and it’s full of nourishing ingredients – think vitamin C, E and moringa oil – to keep your complexion supple, while building a warm, soft glow that looks natural and healthy. You’ll find it lasts for months as a little goes a long way. There’s the tiniest hint of shimmer in there to catch the light, too.

Awesome Bronze Gorgeous Sunkissed Bronzing Cream, £28 | Beauty Pie

Fans of cream bronzers will love this new one from Beauty Pie. The velvety texture melts into skin to give it a matte, but still radiant finish that’s never grey or ashy looking. Easy to apply and build up, it works nicely as a contour too, helping to carve out cheekbones for subtle definition. Great for days when you don’t want to bother with self-tan.

Luminous Silk Bronzing Powder, £48 | Armani Beauty

A cream and powder hybrid, this new palette contains several bronzed tones in one compact. Using a brush, simply swirl it around the colours and buff it all over to give your complexion a uniformed glow with zero streaks or orange tint. It doubles up nicely as an eyeshadow too, with latte tones to enhance every eye colour.

Chocolate Soleil Melting Bronzing & Sculpting Stick, £28 | Too Faced

Just the names of these sticks had us at hello. ‘Chocolate Lava’, ‘Soufflé’ and ‘Mousse’ are all easy to scribble on and blend out with fingers or a brush, plus they work fast at adding shape and definition to your complexion – especially on cheekbones, bridge of the nose and your chin. Great for keeping in your bag, they are foolproof and smooth, and never leave any harsh lines behind.

Backstage Limited Edition Rosy Glow, £34 | Dior

We love these neat, small blushers from Dior and this ‘Bronzed Glow’ shade is perfect if you’re travelling over the summer. Taking up next to no space, it has the perfect amount of pigment, while the soft texture looks imperceptible on the skin. As for the colour, the ruddy brown shade is surprisingly flattering – don’t let it put you off when you first pick it up. Whether you want to define your cheekbones, seal in a cream formula or gently warm up your skin, this has endless uses – including as an eyeshadow, too.

Cloud Paint, £22 | Glossier

If you loved Glossier’s Blusher Cloud Paints, you’ll love these bronzers. With the exact same formula, texture and pigment, they’re easy enough to tap on with fingers for a bit of glow. The sheer texture is what we love most – once applied, they sink in fast leaving behind a plumped, dewy sheen that looks healthy and luminous. Available in six shades, they blend nicely with other products, too.

Tinted Moisturiser Bronzer, £28.50 | Laura Mercier

Different to traditional bronzers, this is more of a skin tint that gently lifts your complexion thanks to its warming hue. There’s no foundation or concealer needed – it gives great coverage with in-built pearls that break over the skin to impart a soft sheen, too. Buff it in all over – just like you would a tinted moisturiser – and the natural-looking tan will last all day. Unlike some formulas, it never feels drying, thanks to prickly pear extracts and fruit seeds that continually drip-feed moisture into your skin.
