12 Places To Treat Your Dad This Father’s Day

Don’t forget – Sunday 16th June is Father’s Day. It’s the perfect opportunity to spoil your dad and spend some quality time with him. We’ve put together our top suggestions of places in London – from golf to a Gospel Brunch, from cigar-rolling to a meat-carving masterclass – to give you all the inspiration you need to make it a fabulous Father’s Day.

IF HE LIKES SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT: 12:51

Chef James Cochran has introduced a spring goat roast sharing dish at 12:51, available every Sunday. The new twist on the classic Sunday roast uses one of James’s favourite meats cooked three ways and is accompanied by seasonal sides. The sharing dish also takes inspiration from James’s ‘Goat Sharing Board’ which won him the title of ‘Champion of Champions’ on the BBC’S 2018 series of Great British Menu. This Sunday, all dads will be treated to a free can of 12:51 x Brick Brewery ‘Loose Juice’ pilsner when they visit the restaurant for Father’s Day. The spring goat roast costs £25pp and serves two.

IF HE LIKES OLD-SCHOOL GLAMOUR: Beaufort Bar

For those looking to end Father's Day with a late-night tipple, The Savoy's classic Beaufort Bar is the perfect location. A new drinks menu, named Music, Magic & Drama, includes a well-chosen, in-depth whisky selection. Expanding its representation of world whiskies, and offering small, rare batches, the whiskies at the Beaufort Bar range in style, age, region and complexity, meaning dads who consider themselves malt connoisseurs or curious samplers will be wowed in equal measure. An array of bar food accompanies the new menu: think 36-hour steamed Chinese buns, satay chicken and beef tartare.
