Behind The Scenes At A SheerLuxe X Ascot Dinner

Say the words ‘world-class racing’ and there’s one name that springs to mind. Ascot. To celebrate the legendary racecourse’s coolest day out and the SheerLuxe Green Carpet that will be at the QIPCO King George Weekend on 29th July this year, we hosted an intimate dinner at iconic Mayfair restaurant 34 for some of the industry’s most in-the-know tastemakers. Here’s who was there, what they wore and why this isn’t a summer event to be missed.

Trend-led florist GLORIA FLOWERS was commissioned to DRESS THE EMIN ROOM and a jazz band trio performed while guests sipped on MOËT & CHANDON CHAMPAGNE.

Guests enjoyed a three-course menu, including seasonal fruits with sorbet; Nana Acheampong was among the tastemakers at 34.

What To Know About QIPCO King George Weekend On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th July...

Less formal than Royal Ascot, but a key fixture in the global racing calendar, the QIPCO King George Weekend is a quintessentially English event. Focusing on fashion, food and sport, it is ideal for groups and celebrations. Alongside entertainment from DJ Yasmin Evans, SheerLuxe will be there on Saturday 29th July to host the SheerLuxe Green Carpet on the lawns surrounding the Bandstand – where racegoers will be invited to create a short video clip showing off their outfits.
