The New Reality Series You Need To Watch

Whether you’re a beauty-obsessive, budding entrepreneur or simply want to know what it’s really like to be one of the world’s biggest online influencers, you’ll want to bookmark this new reality series…

Huda Kattan – CEO of the Huda Beauty cosmetics brand, creator of the world’s most-read beauty blog and Instagram’s highest-paid influencer with over 25m followers – is giving fans a candid glimpse at her glamorous life with a new reality show, Huda Boss.

The ten-episode series goes behind the scenes of the Dubai-headquartered company to spotlight Kattan and her family – comprised of sisters Mona and Alya and husband Chris – as they work together on the business, which she transformed from a small personal blog to a global empire in just eight years.

The team behind Huda Boss have revealed the series shows 34-year-old Kattan like you’ve never seen her before, and said she hasn’t held back on access to Huda Beauty, letting cameras see the good with the bad when it comes to the truth about running a successful family-owned business. Seeing as Kattan was named as one of Time magazine’s 25 Most Influential People on the Internet, alongside J.K Rowling and Kim Kardashian West, we reckon it’s well worth a watch.

The series is debuting exclusively on Facebook Watch on Tuesday 12th June, with new episodes airing each week on Tuesdays. Kattan will also engage with her fans throughout the season with Live Q&As on Facebook Watch, and share her top beauty tips and tricks via Facebook Live.

“We have had so much fun filming the show and can’t wait for people to get an inside look at our business and our sometimes-crazy family!” Kattan said in a statement, adding that when Huda Beauty began as a blog in 2010, Facebook was the first platform she launched on: “It was, and continues to be, a very important platform for the brand, and together with Instagram, has really helped grow our business.”

After her blog began to soar in popularity, Kattan founded Huda Beauty cosmetics in 2013 with a range of almost-always-sold-out false lashes. Today, it’s one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in the world, with an entire range of products including liquid lipsticks, highlighter palettes, false nails, and a collaboration with Tweezerman (and is available to shop in the UK at Cult Beauty, Selfridges and Harrods for those interested).
