HAVE A LAUGH:
Cards Against Humanity At Roof East

Missing those Zoom quizzes of lockdowns past? Roof East in Stratford is hosting Cards Against Humanity quizzes every Wednesday night, when you can challenge your friends and put together hilarious sentences with a series of cards. Each week, the winners will receive a VIP Roof East experience, complete with tokens for games and food and drink for two. Once you’ve decided which team is the most outrageous, hit the bowling alley or crazy golf range before sampling a range of Indian street food and cocktails. Just be aware the season is coming to a close – October 3rd is the last date the rooftop will be open, so be sure to secure your spot before then.

CHECK OUT A CREATIVE HUB: Design District, Greenwich Peninsula

Greenwich Peninsula has opened a cool new space for creatives, known as the Design District. A total of 16 buildings designed by architects from around the world will host pop-ups, exhibitions and events throughout the year – offering plenty of interesting entertainment this weekend and beyond. If you have your man in tow, there’s a basketball court on the rooftop of the C1 building where he can shoot hoops against London’s skyline. Or you and your girls can book an exhibition at NOW Gallery and catch a film at the open-air screen at The Tide, before trying out the street food on offer at new food hub and market Canteen – we have it on good authority that it’s worth making a beeline for Ehla’s Mediterranean bites and falafel wraps.
