WATCH THIS NEW FILM: Birds Of Paradise

Based on AK Small’s book Bright Burning Stars, this Amazon Original film tells the story of a competitive friendship between two ballerinas. Kate (Diana Silvers) is an aspiring dancer who’s given a scholarship to attend a prestigious ballet school in Paris. On arrival, her confidence is tested by a fellow dancer, Marine (Kristine Frøseth), who has recently lost her brother. While confrontational at first, their relationship evolves into an emotionally charged union filled by lies – and a sexual awakening – as they risk it all to join the famous Opéra National de Paris.

NoMad London

We couldn’t wait to visit NoMad London when it opened its doors earlier this year, so we’re pleased to hear the hotel has just launched a brunch menu. Aiming to bring a bit of NYC to London, diners will be seated in the beautiful atrium of NoMad Restaurant to enjoy American-inspired dishes like breakfast burritos; a prawn BLT made with sourdough bread, bacon, apples and basil aioli; and a French sandwich featuring truffle chicken, pickled shallots and gravy. For a special occasion, treat yourself to items from the ‘raw list’ (like fruits de mer, oysters, and scallop ceviche) and add on cocktails and coffee.
