WATCH A CHRISTMAS FILM: Backyard Cinema At Troxy

Backyard Cinema is taking over east London venue Troxy this month. London’s original art-deco cinema has been transformed into a winter grotto where guests can watch a Christmas classic with popcorn, mulled wine and choir performances before each film. There are three movies to choose from – Elf, Love Actually and Home Alone – with afternoon and evening showings throughout the month. Before each film, guests will also be treated to an original story narrated by George the Poet, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to buy snacks and settle in.

SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE: Key4life Emergency Appeal

More than two-thirds of UK prisoners reoffend within a year of being released, but UK charity Key4Life is working to reduce that number with its unique rehabilitation programme. Here at SheerLuxe, it’s a charity we really believe in, but one which needs continuous support through mentorships, donations, work experience or even job opportunities for the young men on its programmes. The pandemic has put it under further strain, which is why Key4Life has created an emergency appeal. To get involved, join the sponsored mile walk on Sunday 5th December at 9.30am from HMP Wormwood Scrubs to HMP Brixton, or set up your own fundraising activity. You can also make a donation via the link below.
