BOOK AHEAD FOR THIS: Lavender Green Flowers Masterclasses, Chelsea
If you’re after a fun, creative activity to enjoy with your mum or something different to enjoy with the girls, Lavender Green Flowers in Chelsea is hosting a series of autumn masterclasses at its new King’s Road store. The team, who created the flowers for Pippa Middleton’s and Sophie Wessex’s weddings are known for their colourful and elegant arrangements, so you can expect good things. There are five dates to choose from in September and October, but tickets are set to sell out quickly. During the class (£75pp) you’ll be shown how to create a handtied seasonal bouquet using a range of fresh flowers and British foliage by one of Lavender Green’s teachers. You’ll be treated to a glass of English sparkling wine on the night, and all tools and materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is a bit of creative flair.

BINGE THIS NEW RELEASE: Pose Series 3
The third and final series of Pose has just been added to BBC iPlayer. Set during the underground world of New York ball culture, series three takes us back to 1994 where the AIDS epidemic that stigmatised and ravaged the LGBTQ+ community shows no sign of waning. The children from House Evangelista have moved out of home, leaving Blanca with an empty nest, but she’s determined to get them back together to walk a ball one more time, if only to save Pray Tell whose self-destructive behaviour hasn’t gone unnoticed. Cloudy Bay Wine has opened a pop-up on the ground floor of Selfridges. The New Zealand brand, known for its signature sauvignon blanc, has created a cool installation, where guests will feel like they’ve been transported across the Pacific. Cosy up under the lanterns outside, or choose to sit at the bar to enjoy a glass (or two) of Cloudy Bay wine or champagne from Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart or Dom Pérignon. Be sure to order bar snacks such as a small plate of crab meat or jamón ibérico, or a light summer salad. We can’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend. The pop-up will be in place until the beginning of October.

BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO THIS: Rooftop Film Club Cinema Therapy
Rooftop Film Club is launching a series of ‘cinema therapy’ screenings – a celebration of films to help channel different emotions. Taking place this weekend, you can choose from a range of screenings to help boost your mood and destress, whether you’re after an action-packed comedy to lift your mood or a sad romcom to get the tears going. Founded by lawyer turned yogi Alexandra Baldi, Compass Chelsea is a studio to have on your radar. Visitors can choose from a range of classes, whether you want to work out solo or with someone else, including yoga, soothing gong baths, vinyasa flow sessions, meditation classes or Pilates. You can also choose from singing bowl sessions (a deep form of meditation that helps restore the mind and body) and ‘Pawsideyoga’ classes where you can train alongside your puppy. TRY NEW FLAVOURS: Palm 34 At 34 Mayfair
Restaurant 34 Mayfair launched a collaboration with Perrier-Jouët Champagne and Malfy Gin on Tuesday. Diners can sample a limited-edition menu in the dining room, which has been decked out with a cool Palm Springs-inspired installation. All the food and drink is pink and you can look forward to hidden surprises and interesting flavours in each – expect dishes like salmon poke bowls with pineapple, edamame, wild rice, and ponzu and ginger dressing; the 34 Palm Spring shrimp burger with crab and sweetcorn fritters; and Korean BBQ spatchcock chicken with kimchi slaw, yuzu and cucumber yoghurt. Be sure to order the passionfruit parfait for dessert, followed by a glass of Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé Champagne – an SL fave.
