5 Luxe Festivals The SL Team Are Booking For 2026
Wilderness Festival
Sherri Andrew, Travel & Lifestyle Editor
Wilderness continues to set itself apart not just with its eclectic culture and music but with a curated dining programme that feels more like a gastronomic weekend than festival food. Alongside the festival’s multi-arts line-up (to be announced imminently), the much-anticipated Long Table Banquets bring together a roster of acclaimed chefs in an atmospheric marquee setting where four and five-course feasts are served communally in the spirit of convivial celebration. Headline figures include Prue Leith, whose decades of culinary experience shape menus that are both refined and generous. Elsewhere, there’s a host of guest chefs whose work spans intimate tasting menus at The Chef’s Table – an elevated counter-seated experience overlooking Lake Wilderness – to woodland feasts led by Ben Quinn’s Woodfired Canteen. What continues to resonate with us is the range of boutique camping upgrades on offer – expect dedicated areas with a concierge and pamper parlour, as well as a dedicated restaurant and bar.

VERVE Festival
Harriet Russell, Chief Sub-Editor & Features Manager
VERVE is one of the gentlest, most considered festivals on the circuit – the kind you could happily bring your mum to and she’d have a great time. Set within the Larmer Tree Gardens, it has become a go-to for those who want a festival experience anchored in wellbeing, movement and nature, without losing its sense of fun. Days move easily between energising moments and slower, more restorative ones, with space to dip in and out as you please. Accommodation reflects that same approach. Boutique camping and beautifully styled Bellorama bell tents come with proper beds, cosy linens and the kind of small details that make switching off feel easy. The wider site has a strong sense of community and programming gives equal weight to workshops, breathwork, gentle performances and live music – it’s a weekend that feels closer to a summer retreat than a typical field party. It’s relaxed, unpressured and entirely choose-your-own-pace.

Lost Village
Eleanor Magill, Junior Writer & Sub-Editor
Lost Village continues to stand apart as a festival that feels more like an imaginative world than a weekend event but it’s still big on music. Nestled in woodland, the line-up for 2026 features a compelling blend of electronic, house and dance talent, including Ezra Collective, Soulwax, Peggy Gou, Dixon, Ben UFO, Ross From Friends and more – plus, curated B2B sets and secret shows that keep the programme feeling fresh. The boutique accommodation and sanctuary spaces are what change the tenor of the weekend: pre-pitched tents and grand bell houses come with proper beds, private services, concierge, hot showers, a coffee bar and dedicated restaurant areas, so your base feels more like a relaxed escape than a makeshift campsite. Plus, resale is coming out today – so fingers on buttons.

Also Festival
Harvey James, Associate Editor At SLMan
Also has always excelled at balancing culture, conversation and creativity, but it’s the setting that quietly sets the tone: a half-mile Capability Brown-designed lake, only open to the public for a single weekend each year, framed by 17th-century landscape gently returning to the wild. For 2026, wellbeing takes a bigger step forward with the launch of the new lakeside Sanctuary Sessions, including the upgraded ALSO Sauna alongside ice baths and cold plunges for Scandi-style contrast therapy. In partnership with Numinity, expect a tightly curated programme spanning neural reprogramming meditation, manifestation workshops, breathwork, dream analysis and more, alongside wild swimming at dawn and dusk, paddleboard safaris and gentle lakeside sessions. Add an intimate programme of music, talks and performances, plus camping and glamping options that keep things comfortable, and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

The Big Retreat Festival
Tor West, Senior Health & Wellness Editor
If your idea of a festival also includes movement, great food and genuine downtime, The Big Retreat is worth setting aside a long weekend for. Set within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park there are 300+ experiences on offer, from yoga and wild swimming to cookery demos and breathwork. It blends live music with activities designed to restore rather than exhaust – and is really family-friendly. Comfort here goes beyond the stages: the Retreat Club luxury upgrade offers a calmer, more pampered base with lounge access, hot tubs, premium shower facilities and dedicated areas to decompress after an active day. Plus, under-fives go free.
