BEAUTY

Marc Jacobs Beauty Pop-Up at Selfridges

Marc Jacobs Beauty is back. To celebrate its relaunch, the brand has taken over a bit of Selfridges with a playful, free-to-visit pop-up. Alongside the chance to explore the new collection in person, visitors can stop by the photobooth for a complimentary printed keepsake, and pick up exclusive gifts with purchase – from star, heart or daisy-shaped phone rings to a limited-edition keyring blush cover. It’s a fun, interactive way to rediscover one of beauty’s most iconic names.

Selfridges, Oxford Street, West End, W1A 1AB; until 31st July

FOOD & DRINK

Buvette London

New York cult favourite Buvette has landed in Covent Garden, taking over the former St. John Bakery space in Neal’s Yard. From acclaimed chef Jody Williams (Via Carota and I Sodi) the 80-cover all-day restaurant brings a slice of NYC-style bistro dining to central London. Expect everything from waffle sandwiches at breakfast to salade niçoise and croque monsieur at lunch, plus steak tartare, coq au vin and French wine come evening. It’s the kind of spot you can drop into at any time of day and stay far longer than planned.

Lillie’s, Olympia

Olympia’s £1.3bn redevelopment has delivered one of West London’s most striking new openings: Lillie’s, a 200-cover rooftop wine bar and restaurant designed like an elevated English garden in the sky. With a retractable roof, sweeping skyline views and a sun-soaked terrace built for long lunches, it’s an easy summer go-to whether you’re stopping in for Champagne or settling in for the afternoon. The menu leans into seasonal British small plates and elevated classics, alongside a strong line-up of English sparkling wines from producers like Nyetimber and Rathfinny, plus garden-inspired cocktails and a proper afternoon tea offering. It also sits within a wider destination space from Incipio Group, alongside Wolves of Tokyo, Bar Arriba and Arbour, making Olympia a full food-and-drink neighbourhood in its own right.
