BEAUTY
Jorum Studio at Marylebone Village
Scotland’s cult perfumery has opened a London flagship – a two-storey space in Marylebone Village that’s part boutique, part design gallery. Founded by master perfumer Euan McCall, Jorum Studio is known for unique scents like Pony Boy (notes of rhubarb and beetroot) and Trimerous (green and earthy notes). The store showcases the full collection alongside Scottish craft pieces and minimalist furniture from brands like Sofie Østerby. A smart spot to pick up Christmas gifts – whether you’re shopping for others or treating yourself.

FOOD
The Marlborough
Crisp Pizza has left Hammersmith and relocated somewhere more central. If you find yourself craving one of their cult New York-style pies (you’re not alone), you’ll now find them slinging slices at the Marlborough in Mayfair. Part of the Devonshire’s pub supergroup, this two-floor Grade II-listed spot is home to a proper boozer upstairs with a speakeasy-style pizzeria below. Expect thin, loaded pizzas, Guinness on tap and – if the Devonshire is anything to go by – a buzzy crowd.

Over at Kew Gardens, the annual light trail winds through the grounds with glowing tunnels, fire gardens and oversized installations. It’s immersive, magical and guaranteed to impress little ones.

LEGO Chalet of Play, Covent Garden
Covent Garden has a new festive pop‑up this month: The LEGO Group’s Chalet of Play. Running until 30th November, the free experience invites families to step into a world of creativity and Christmas cheer. Kids can take on the Tinsel Toss challenge, hunt for hidden gifts in the LEGO Minecraft Zone, and add their own brick‑built decorations to the glowing Creativi‑Tree. In the Build To Give area, little ones can craft LEGO hearts – with each one built, a set is donated to a child in need. Expect plenty of photo opportunities with giant LEGO Santa and Rudolf, plus hands‑on activities to keep everyone entertained.

LIVING
The Capston, Embassy Gardens
If you’re on the property hunt in London, Nine Elms has a new landmark. The Capston is the final chapter in Ballymore’s Embassy Gardens development, set beside the US Embassy on the South Bank. Inspired by Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, the architecture is bold and modern, while interiors nod to art deco with eclectic detailing and curated artworks throughout. Residences range from studios to penthouses, with access to Embassy Gardens’ Sky Pool and a neighbourhood now home to independent restaurants, cafés and bars. With Japanese‑inspired gardens, wellness facilities and concierge service, The Capston is designed as much for lifestyle as for living – and it’s one to watch if you’re considering Zone 1.
