EAT WELL:

La Môme Berkeley

La Môme, the Cannes hotspot from Ugo and Antoine Lecorché, has landed in London at The Berkeley, bringing some of the glamour of the French Riviera to Knightsbridge. Samy Chams's peach-hued interiors (in the former home of Marcus Wareing’s Michelin-starred Marcus) set the scene for a Mediterranean menu packed with tableside theatrics. Truffle lovers should dive into the rossini fillet steak draped in Périgourdine sauce, foie gras and black truffle shavings. Alternatively, opt for the grilled seabass, bathed in a white wine vinegar marinade with tomatoes and pine nuts. There are 170 seats inside, 30 on the terrace, and a ten-seater bar shaking up cocktails.

FILL YOUR BOOTS:

Senza Fondo

Senza Fondo lands in Shoreditch this Thursday offering bottomless lasagna (£20 per person) and more. Owner Joe Worthington and chef Michael Bagnall helm the kitchen, dishing out one of East London’s most indulgent menus in a sleek space. Start with family-style mortadella with pistachio before diving into Italian-American fettuccine alfredo, lasagna-style pizzette, and specials like aubergine parmigiana and grilled wing rib on the bone with beef jus and apple mostarda. Off-menu bites, including burnt lasagna ends, are available on request. Finish strong with tiramisu, wood-fired apple pie or olive oil gelato.

Much Ado About Nothing

In the second half of Jamie Lloyd’s season at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager) and Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter, Black Mirror) star as Shakespeare’s bickering lovers Benedick and Beatrice. Filled with love, deception and plenty of misunderstandings, their story features sharp dialogue and comedic moments. While Lloyd is known for his bold celebrity castings – like his upcoming US production of Waiting for Godot with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter – Hiddleston and Atwell are two of his most trusted actors. Hiddleston previously appeared in Lloyd’s revival of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal in the West End and on Broadway, while Atwell graced the stage in two of Lloyd’s earlier productions, The Faith Machine and The Pride. Tickets for this one are going fast, but there are still a few seats left.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Catherine Street, Covent Garden, WC2B 5JF; until 5th April
