Tutto Wine Summer Party
After a five-year hiatus, Tutto Wine’s summer party returns on Sunday 28th July. Hosted at London Fields fine-dining spot Brat Climpson’s Arch, chef collective Loose Joints will take charge of the menu, with William Gleave heading up the grill. Also on the roster is Meedu Saad, head chef and co-founder of Soho’s Kiln, as well as Songsoo Kim and Ben Chapman from Super8 Restaurants (think Brat, Smoking Goat, Mountain and Kiln). Zen Ong, founder of Los Angeles-based ice-cream parlour Awan, is taking care of dessert and, of course, Tutto will be pouring their favourite summer bottles. Seiji Ono of reissue label Melodies International will be on the decks.

Luxury gin brand Cygnet has teamed up with Marylebone hotspot Lavo to launch a summer garden terrace. This coastal-themed oasis features citrus trees and Mediterranean tiling, complemented by a summer cocktail menu crafted by Cygnet Gin and Double Dutch mixers. Showcasing how Welsh gin can pair with Amalfi Coast flavours, the standout Italian 75 cocktail combines Cygnet Welsh dry gin with hibiscus, Acqua di Cedro, raspberry and champagne. Plus, every Wednesday, guests can enjoy aperitivo hour from 5pm-7pm, with £15 cocktails and complimentary canapés like wild mushroom arancini.

Sol’s
Opened earlier this month, Sol’s is a wine bar and delicatessen inspired by the Iberian Peninsula and southern Europe's convivial dining culture. By day, it’s a neighbourhood deli offering sandwiches, salads, seasonal produce, cheese, charcuterie, pantry goods and wine – all available to eat in or take away. By night, Sol’s transforms into a cosy dining spot with a rotating menu of small plates featuring the best seasonal ingredients, such as mortadella with giardiniera pickles, Cuore del Vesuvio tomatoes and fresh borlotti beans, and salty gildas. This Friday, chef Graeme Cheevers of Michelin-starred Unalome in Glasgow will join Miller Prada and the kitchen team at Humo for a one-night-only culinary experience. This is the inaugural event in Humo’s new guest chef series ‘Invitados’, which invites kitchen heroes from some of the world’s best restaurants to collaborate with their team. The menu will feature a pairing with Wildmoor whisky. Across tasting and à la carte menus, dishes are inspired by Scotland’s natural landscape. Highlights from the £155 tasting menu include roasted hand-dived Orkney scallop with dashi custard and smoked Shetland mussel sauce; and scarlet prawn tartare and toast with prawn jelly and N25 Oscietra caviar.

Wilderness Festival X Veuve Clicquot
Wilderness Festival is one of the UK's most luxurious summer events. Beyond the bell tents and yurts, there’s a spa and sauna, as well as aerial and paddleboard yoga, and al fresco feasts run by chefs like Andi Oliver and Richard Corrigan. This year, the Airstream bar in the Veuve Clicquot tent is the place to be, as DJs like PBR Streetgang and Millie Cotton set the vibe. Over on the festival’s main stage, Michael Kiwanuka, Faithless, Bicep and Barry Can’t Swim are top of the bill, while attendees can also enjoy talks from top authors, comedians and artists like Jeremy Deller, Amy Gledhill and Joel Dommett.
