12 New London Pop-Ups You Need To Go To

From cocktails made by one of the world’s best mixologists, to Michelin-starred Tom Kerridge rattling the pans at Hawksmoor for one night only, here are 12 fresh ways to dine in the capital this season.

The Nitery by Gizzi Erskine

Gizzi Erskine’s highly anticipated three-month pop-up launched this week. The Nitery is housed in the former Asia de Cuba site on St Martin’s Lane and takes inspiration from early 20th-century Parisian ‘niteries’ – hedonistic, bohemian restaurants that popped up all around the city. The menu encompasses French, American and English food, wine and cocktails: expect to sample dishes like devilled eggs with roast chicken crackling; steak tartare with bone marrow dripping on Marmite toast served with cured egg yolk; and flagolet dauphinoise with goat cutlets. Desserts are an exercise in nostalgia, including the likes of chocolate mousse with Horlicks cream and Gizzi’s take on a queen of puddings.
