Bicep, Wide Awake Festival

Wide Awake is an independent festival that launched in Brockwell Park last summer. Expanding to a two-day event for 2022, the team will once again bring Londoners some of the best acts from the worlds of leftfield indie, post punk, electronica, techno, jazz and more. Artist highlights this year include Bicep, Caribou, Floating Points, Primal Scream and The Comet Is Coming.

Michael Bublé, Various Venues

Canadian crooner Michael Bublé is surely one of the best-loved entertainers in the world. He's completed six sold-out world tours and sold more than 60m records over the course of his extraordinary career, and he’s set to bring his signature shows to a selection of stately homes, castles and cricket grounds across the UK in July. Called ‘An Evening With Michael Bublé’, the open-air concerts will take place at Warwick Castle, Royal Bath Crescent, Cardiff Castle, Chewton Glen, Hatfield House and more.

Bastille, The O2

With over 11m records sold, 6 UK Top 40 singles, and 1.5bn video views, Bastille continue to be one of the world’s most streamed bands. The Brit award-winning group’s headline tour brings them to The O2 on 7th April. The shows will give fans the opportunity to hear new album Give Me The Future live for the first time. The album takes listeners into a sci-fi wonderland free from restrictions, with the four-piece describing each song as a “different danceable dreamscape”.

Billie Eilish, The O2

Vogue cover star, seven-time Grammy winner and 2019’s biggest-selling artist in North America, Billie Eilish is coming to The O2. The show is part of her Happier Than Ever world tour – we’re expecting something completely different to her previous neo-gothic performances and look. To help create a more eco-conscious environment both backstage and for her fans, the audience can bring refillable water bottles to the shows, with water-stations available at every venue for both the audience and crew backstage – and plastic straws will not be permitted.

Amber Mark, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire

New York-based R’n’B singer, songwriter and producer Amber Mark announced the details of her debut album Three Dimensions Deep – which features single 'What It Is' – last year. To celebrate the launch, she's embarking on a huge world tour. We’re expecting impressive things from the super-cool, 28-year-old Grammy nominee when she headlines Shepherd’s Bush Empire in March.

Hans Zimmer, The O2

Hans Zimmer has created some of the best-known and most influential film scores of all time. The composer – who received his 11th Oscar nomination in 2018 for the film score of Christopher Nolan’s box-office hit Dunkirk – has reinvented the format for live film music performance. Audiences can expect another lavish set of performances next month, as Zimmer takes centre stage himself, performing as both musician and host – alongside an orchestra, choir and band – to allow listeners to immerse themselves in his much-loved soundtracks.

Big Thief, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire

Big Thief – the Brooklyn band fronted by Adrianne Lenker – are set to make a welcome return to the UK following the release of their 2021 EP Live at the Bunker Studio, which was culled from 2019’s widely praised Two Hands and U.F.O.F. Big Thief concerts have long been raved about for their chemistry and magnetic performances, which is why it’s no surprise they’ve booked in not one but three nights at Shepherd’s Bush Empire as part of their UK headline tour.

The Killers, Emirates Stadium

For the Las Vegas band’s sixth album, 2020's Imploding The Mirage, The Killers became a duo. After initially scrapping six months’ worth of material, the pair decided to team up with a selection of special guests, including KD Lang, War On Drugs' Adam Granduciel, Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham. In celebration of its release, the band announced the Imploding The Mirage Tour, which has now been rescheduled to summer 2022. Excellent news for anyone looking to relive the summer of 2004 via the band’s string of cult hits.

Tom Odell, O2 Academy Brixton

English singer-songwriter Tom Odell has been quiet the last few years, but later this month he’s back with a new live show. Expect to hear tracks from Long Way Down his platinum-selling debut album, which helped him win a Brit back in 2013 – alongside new songs from his forthcoming fourth album, Monsters.

Planet Earth II Live In Concert, The O2

These spectacular live concerts, based on the David Attenborough series, will be hosted by science and natural history TV presenter Liz Bonnin, with behind-the-scenes insights from Mike Gunton, the executive producer of the Bafta and Emmy-award-winning BBC show. Featuring specially selected footage shown in 4K ultra high-definition on a gigantic LED screen, the City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the remarkable music by Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer. A great one to take the children to.

Los Bitchos, Scala

This London-based pan-continental group could well be your new favourite party band. Describing themselves as sounding “like Van Halen and Cocteau Twins – but from Turkey”, the four-piece – Serra Petale (guitar), Agustina Ruiz (keytar), Josefine Jonsson (bass) and Nic Crawshaw (drums) – hail from different parts of the world but met via all-night house parties in London. Los Bitchos's debut album was recorded by Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos, and is everything you’d want for an up-tempo night out.

Wet Leg, Electric Ballroom

Wet Leg are the indie band from the Isle of Wight everyone’s been raving about. Made up of good friends Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, they formed in 2019 and soon signed with Domino Recording Company. Debut single ‘Chaise Longue’ became one of the most-played by BBC 6Music when it was released last summer, and has since been streamed by millions. Fresh from an appearance on Later... with Jools Holland and a US tour, this highly anticipated Electric Ballroom show will coincide with the release of their debut album.
