Lucky Voice will open a new site in Liverpool Street on Saturday 18th February. Meet the girls for an evening of karaoke and performing your favourite songs on the mic. Each private room has space for up to 30 people for two hours of back-to-back songs. Choose from themed playlists or browse its catalogue which has over 11,000 songs, from current chart hits to 90s tunes and old-school classics. Press the ‘Thirsty’ button in your booth to order pizza, drinks and cocktails. At weekends, DJs will set the vibe in the main bar area to get you hyped up for the night.

British Vogue x Snapchat Immersive Exhibition

British Vogue has teamed up with Snapchat for a one-of-a-kind immersive AR exhibition – Vogue x Snapchat: Redefining the Body. Curated by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, the exhibition explores how fashion amplifies and transforms the everyday. Each room showcases the collections of an iconic designer such as Dior, Richard Quinn, Stella McCartney and Versace. Using clever AR tech, you can even try on some of the clothes to see yourself in the designer outfits. Tickets are free – just sign up at the link below to book a viewing slot.

Margarita Week with Cazcabel

Margarita Week kicks off on Saturday 18th February. To celebrate, tequila brand Cazcabel is hosting a series of masterclasses, events and tastings around the UK. In London, Mestizo Chelsea will launch a new margarita menu, Bao Shoreditch will be running a ‘Hot Man Margarita’ special as well as launching a ‘Margarita Robot’ drink. Cank Street in Leicester will be organising a 24-hour ‘Marg-a-thon’ for charity, while Cargo Cantina in Bristol will host masterclasses throughout the week. Don’t miss the margarita ‘sip and make’ sessions at Barrio in Brixton this weekend.

Amazónico

If you’ve ever needed an excuse to take the girls to Amazónico, now’s your chance. The Latin American restaurant is bringing the spirit of Rio de Janeiro to Mayfair for a week of carnival celebrations from Friday 17th to Saturday 25th February. Six limited-edition dishes include smoked beef and pork croquettes with black bean and cassava; spicy chūtoro tartar with cassava cracker and kumquat; and spiced tortillas with avocado and pineapple salad – as well as seven tropical Rio-inspired cocktails. On Friday 24th February, the restaurant will be open until 3am with live Brazilian drummers, dancers and music from Brazilian DJ Curol. Tickets cost £120pp.

Standing at the Sky's Edge has just opened at the National. Set in 1950s and 60s Sheffield, the musical is told through three generations, each hoping to escape their everyday lives and find something bigger and brighter. Rosie MacKean x Albie at The Hoxton, Southwark

Self-proclaimed pasta queen Rosie MacKean has a new chef residency at Albie at The Hoxton, Southwark. Over the next month, Rosie will serve her favourite comfort dishes, including mortadella mac ’n’ cheese topped with crispy panko breadcrumbs and pistachios; rigatoni with a broccoli, cavolo nero, spinach and basil sauce topped with toasted hazelnuts; and anchovy and chilli linguine with slow roasted red peppers. Wash it down with a cocktail from Albie’s killer drinks list.

Southern Comfort x Ibiza Rocks Mardi Gras Party

Southern Comfort is bringing the spirit of New Orleans to the capital with a celebration at The Prince in West Brompton. On Saturday 18th February, the brand is throwing a huge party: it’s teamed up with Ibiza Rocks for tunes straight from the White Isle – Mardi Gras style. Tonight from 6pm, chef Yotam Ottolenghi is hosting an online cook-along to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee, which is providing vital aid to the hundreds of thousands affected by the earthquakes across Turkey, Syria and further afield. In tonight’s hour-long session, Ottolenghi will make some of his signature dishes, before answering your questions in a Q&A. South London food delivery service Danny Jack is hosting a roast dinner pop-up in Brixton on Sunday 19th February. Head to its events space from 12pm to enjoy a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings – roast potatoes, carrots, stuffing, gravy and seasonal greens. There’s a portobello mushroom option for vegetarians, and pear and almond tart with bay leaf ice-cream for dessert.
