The artworks also explore ideas about nature, politics and society, gender, aesthetics and the act of looking, with most of the works visible from outdoor locations around the site, from dusk until late. HEAD BACK TO THEATRE: Romeo & Juliet

A violent street brawl between their rival families is the prelude to Romeo’s first encounter with Juliet. Despite this, and the fact that Juliet has been promised to another man in marriage, they fall in love. But any plans for their future happiness are cruelly destroyed by renewed violence between the two families – and while the adults remain almost comically preoccupied with their own affairs, among their children a hidden tragedy begins to unfold. If you’re missing your regular trips to the theatre, there’s still time to enjoy this iconic performance, right from the comfort of your own living room. Originally staged back in 2019 at Shakespeare’s Globe, this fast-paced 90-minute performance is packed with love, family feuds and a dose of comedy – making it perfect viewing for the whole family. Even better, the format of this production has been specially designed to break down cultural walls and empower everyone to develop their creative curiosity.
