GET YOUR CULTURE FIX:

Barbiecore Exhibition at ME Hotel, Strand London

UK pop artist Emma Gibbons, who’s worked with the likes of Damien Hirst, opens a ‘Barbiecore’ exhibition today at ME Hotel, Strand London. A nod to Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie movie, the show includes some of Emma’s signature pop art prints (Margot Robbie even owns one) as well as a huge glitter pill sculpture made from over 100,000 handmade glitter and resin-filled pills – encouraging visitors to reflect on consumerism and addiction, the latter being present throughout Emma's life both personally and within her family.

LEARN ABOUT THE FUTURE:

Who's Looking After Me?

King’s College London’s Science Gallery has opened an exhibition that explores artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on our lives – both today and in the future. Created by artists, researchers, patients, young people and technologists, the free, interactive exhibition is a nuanced look into the parts of life that are already informed by AI, from the justice system and healthcare sector to love, politics, pet care and the daily commute. Look out for an inflatable, huggable robot that responds to human behaviour using AI…
