FASHION

My favourite designer brand is The Row. Season after season, its collections are so chic. I love its mix of powerful pops of colour with signature understated neutrals. I’ve also got a soft spot for Chanel – especially the vintage jackets – but I might have to earn more first.

The under-the-radar brands everyone should know about include Aurelia Mexico. Its beautiful brick shaped bags are made out of recycled wood and cowboy-esque belts. I visited the showroom in Mexico City and it was difficult to choose just one to take home with me. Another small brand I love is Richel by A2, which just launched in Madrid. It makes sexy blazers from 100% repurposed silk and I have never seen such attention to detail. Gauchere is another up and coming brand to watch out for.

The trend I’m loving is Venetian Mary Jane slippers. @Flabelus and @Cayumas make them in bright colours. I’m tall, so I almost never wear heels, and these have become my go-to for day and night.

This summer I’m looking forward to wearing short skirts and dresses. After wearing almost exclusively midi length dresses for the past couple of years, the resurgence of the noughties has meant my taste has shifted…

The best brand for capsule staples is Testaruda by Berta Bernad. It makes the perfect wardrobe staples and I’m excited to see what it does next. Likewise, Maria Grefe makes the most luxurious leather trousers and coats in her own atelier in Germany.

My favourite store in the world is Le Bon Marché in Paris. I can’t wait for the new WOW Concept Store to open in Madrid, which will stock all my favourite Instagram brands and exclusive collabs. I also love Liberty in London.

The best second-hand gems are found in my grandma’s, mum’s and aunt’s wardrobes. There are also some great vintage spots in Paris: Le Dépôt Vente de Buci and Open Dressing, both of which have a great selection of Yves Saint Laurent blazers for very good prices. In Madrid I love Il Grifone and on Instagram I shop from @AlabamaCollect (follow her stories to see the latest drops). Vestiaire is another go-to when I’m looking for something specific.

BEAUTY

My skincare non-negotiables include Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser and an SPF from La Roche-Posay. Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid is a lifesaver for anyone prone to breakouts. I also use a strong prescription tretinoin to keep my skin smooth and glow-y.

As for make-up, I never leave the house without a bit of Nars Creamy Concealer underneath my eyes and I always brush my brows into place with a spoolie and some soap. Chanel Le Volume has been my favourite mascara for years.

The hair product I’ve been using recently is Davines Replumping Conditioner. It’s helped my hair look the best it ever has.

I switch up my fragrances a lot but the ones I love the most are Do Son and Eau des Sens from Diptyque and Bal d’Afrique from Byredo.

I’ve always hated running but I recently signed up to the Better Naked Running Club to get fitter, and I’m loving it! The feeling afterwards is so rewarding. I also go horse-riding at the weekends, which always feels like a full-body workout.

TRAVEL

I lived in Paris for six months. It’s the most inspirational city in the world and I totally understand the French snobbery about it. I feel very lucky to live in Madrid now – it’s such a vibrant city with the best street style and amazing restaurants and night life. I’d definitely recommend it for a city break.

Next on my travel bucket list is Brazil, but the trips that have meant the most to me over the years were probably ones to India and Cuba. Both countries are incredibly different and so full of joyful people, colourful buildings and amazing food. I also loved the architecture and food scene in Mexico City. My number one destination of all time? I’d go back to Italy time and again.

My two favourite restaurants in Madrid are Mo de Movimiento for its cool industrial vibe and Il Tavolo Verde, which feels a bit like a countryside tavern – they serve veggies grown from their own garden.

The newly reopened Hotel Santo Mauro in Madrid is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s been decorated by Lorenzo Castillo, who is a master at uniting a building’s historic aesthetic with modern fabrics – he makes it feel like a 21st century palace. The rooms are a dream and even going there for a drink in the garden feels like an escape from daily life.

INSTAGRAM

For style tips I follow @LeiaSfez and @MariaDeLaOrd – I’ve followed them both forever. I’ve also just discovered @SmythSisters and am enjoying her outfit selfies a lot.

As for interiors, @Pino3Bravo, @BeataHeuman, @SkyeMcAlpine and @_Luca_Lux are my top choices.

Before I go on holiday anywhere, I check out @Prior, @Seehura, @HotelWeekend and @Out__Liers. They all have excellent guides, whatever your destination.

For daily inspiration, Diana Bartlett (@PunctuallyLate) is my favourite. I always enjoy @VelvetCoke and @LadyDiRevengeLooks for vintage flashbacks, as well as @LukeEdwardHall for the country life.

CULTURE

The apps I couldn’t live without are Gorillas for groceries delivery, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Instagram, of course.

The podcasts I enjoy most are about business and entrepreneurship. How I Built This with Guy Raz, Business Unusual with Barbara Corcoran, Entreprendre dans la Mode, Está de Moda and Así Empecé are just a few of my favourites.

It’s a bit of a cliché but The Devil Wears Prada is the film that does it for me every time. I’m partial to Lord of the Rings too, which I suppose is the total opposite!
