For Nervous System Support…

Sound baths are one of my favourite tools for regulation, and I often go to Re:Mind Studio. Sound therapy helps move the body out of fight-or-flight and into a restorative state. I also practise breathwork there, which supports emotional release, stress regulation and mental clarity. More broadly, I prioritise regulation over productivity, especially in high-pressure periods. That means walking, breathing, slowing transitions and not stacking stress on stress. Neuroscience shows the body doesn’t really distinguish between emotional and physical stress; it all hits the same system. I try to build in pauses before my body forces them.

For Stress-Relieving Massage…

Olivia Lymphatics is my go-to. Olivia is exceptional at lymphatic drainage and truly understands how the body works. I always opt for a more functional treatment so I’m getting real benefits alongside relaxation. Lymphatic drainage supports circulation, reduces fluid retention and inflammation, and helps the body detox naturally. You leave feeling noticeably lighter, more defined and deeply balanced – it’s one of those treatments where you feel the difference immediately.

For Recovery…

It would still be Olivia – she’s actually coming to my wedding to do lymphatic drainage the night before and after so I feel my absolute best. The treatment helps reduce bloating, improve circulation and support recovery in a way that’s instantly noticeable. For a deeper reset, I love Rebase. Its infrared therapy, ice baths and hyperbaric oxygen chambers are incredible when my body needs proper recovery. Infrared supports detoxification and muscle repair, ice baths reduce inflammation and boost circulation, while hyperbaric oxygen helps oxygenate the body to aid healing. If I want something more immersive, Temz Floating Sauna is worth the trip. Sitting on the river, it combines contrast therapy with nature, giving you the space to properly switch off – it’s incredibly grounding.

For Low-Energy Days…

I’ll usually head for an infrared sauna and lie with my legs up the wall – it’s brilliant for calming the nervous system, reducing inflammation and supporting lymphatic flow. I also love slow, heated movement like hot yin yoga. Hotspot and Hotpod Yoga are favourites. The heat releases tension and improves flexibility, while the slower pace restores energy without overstimulating the body.

For Everyday Supplements…

Healf is my favourite – it stocks high-quality brands that aren’t always easy to find in the UK. Holland & Barrett and Boots also carry excellent, reliable options. I always see supplements as supporting the foundation, not replacing it, but magnesium is one I buy time and again – it supports sleep and the nervous system.

For Nourishing Food…

When I want to feel my best, I keep my food simple and consistent. I’m much more mindful now of under-eating and over-restricting, something I did for years without realising the impact it was having. From a nervous system perspective, restriction signals scarcity, which drives stress hormones up. I focus on adding nourishment rather than taking things away, and I always try to include fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut, plus herbs and spices where I can. In London, anywhere from the Pachamama Group always works for me – the food is nourishing but still indulgent, and I leave feeling energised rather than heavy.

For Eating On-The-Go…

I rely on AtisThe Good Life EateryDaylesfordOttolenghi salad boxes, Farmer J and Pure – quick, balanced meals that don’t send my energy crashing.

For Smoothies & Matcha…

Tease is my go-to and I’m there most days for matcha. I gave up coffee last year, which made a huge difference to my anxiety levels. Matcha or green tea works better for me because the caffeine release feels steadier – and I never have it on an empty stomach, which is a cortisol spike waiting to happen. I also love Açaí Girls for smoothies and bowls when I want energy that still feels good for digestion and skin health.

For Balanced Movement…

My approach to exercise has completely shifted. I used to think more was always better, but too much high-intensity training just spiked my cortisol and left me exhausted. Now, I focus on movement that supports my nervous system and works with my hormones, not against them. I go to Enmei for strength training – its megaformer classes are incredible for building muscle and posture. The Method is my go-to when I want a mood boost – whether it’s dance-led or something slower, I always leave smiling. I also love hot yoga and mat Pilates at Heartcore and Hotspot for grounding and flexibility. And if I need pure fun and endorphins, a themed Boom Cycle class with a playlist I can sing along to always does the trick.

For Glowing Skin…

It’s a three-way split between Sarah ChapmanDr Rasha and FaceGym. Sarah Chapman facials are incredible for instant results – they boost circulation, deeply cleanse the skin and deliver a glow people immediately comment on. I go to Dr Rasha for more advanced treatments like BBL Moxi and microneedling. BBL Moxi improves pigmentation, texture and collagen production, while microneedling supports long-term firmness and skin renewal. There can be some downtime, but the results are worth it for long-term skin health. If I’m feeling puffy or holding tension in my jaw, I head to FaceGym. I see Eimhear at the Chelsea branch and always add the buccal massage – it releases jaw tension, reduces facial bloating and even helps with headaches.

For Spa Escapes…

Rebase is unbeatable for contrast therapy and recovery. Alternating heat and cold improves circulation, reduces inflammation and builds both physical and mental resilience. For something more immersive, I love AIRE Ancient Baths. The Roman-style bathing experience promotes deep relaxation and total escapism. The spa at DAMU is another standout. Its signature ritual combines zero-gravity flotation, sound therapy, chromotherapy and vibration healing – it’s a complete nervous system reset.

For Spiritual Recalibration…

I see Emily Halil once or twice a year for tarot. I think intuition is key but tarot can be a beautiful way to reflect, gain clarity and feel reassured you’re on the right path. I’m also about to start reiki with Jenny Adam, a wonderful practitioner based in Clapham. Reiki supports energetic balance, stress reduction and emotional wellbeing, and I’m really looking forward to starting.

For Destination Wellness…

One of the best experiences I’ve had was visiting Mayrlife in Austria and Lanserhof in Germany. Both focus on gut health, recovery and longevity, and taught me sustainable habits around digestion, energy and long-term wellbeing that I still rely on today.
