THE COLLAGEN

Sixways

This brand is new to the wellness scene but has already racked up plenty of five-star reviews. Its collagen-boosting powders promise to clear skin and boost radiance, while improving gut health and other internal functions. A fan favourite, its Marine Collagen Powder blends hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, retinol and zinc to boost hydration from within, but what really sets the brand apart is the fact it features collagen in a bioavailable format. Put simply, this means it has the best chance of being absorbed into your system for visible results. Either drink the powders neat or mix them into your water, smoothie or breakfast bowl.

THE APP

Jessica Ennis-Hill X Perimenopause

London 2012 Olympic champ Jessica Ennis-Hill launched her fitness platform in 2019 and is now expanding into the perimenopause category. After receiving feedback from followers whose cycles were changing as they headed into perimenopause, she decided to launch an app that helped educate and inform. This is done through workouts, tips on adapting training routines to different phases of life, menstrual cycle tracking, and expert and industry advice on navigating the perimenopause. With a focus on mental and physical health, it will equip you with the tools so you can be properly in tune yourself – both internally and externally. At just £5.99 a month, it’s accessible too.

THE HEALTH BRAND

Mahoni

Founder Viola Bloch left a career in media to start Mahoni after feeling inspired by the healing properties of manuka honey. On discovering its antibacterial properties, she set out to create a range of natural, gentle products that remedy everything from acne to cold sores, eczema and sore throats. A standout for us is the Skin Remedy, which is designed for use on blemishes, but can also be applied to other areas of skin – like the lips – to seal in moisture. Backed by research and using only the most concentrated antioxidants, you can expect the very best from this small but perfectly formed range. Look out for the brand in Selfridges.

THE SUPPLEMENT

Agent Nateur Holi [Radiance]

Using the brand’s signature OptiMSM – an antioxidant that boosts keratin and collagen levels – Agent Nateur’s new supplement has been years in the making. Designed to strengthen nails, hair, skin and even joints, it takes a 360° approach, working from the inside out for visible results over time. The formula has been created by Agent Nateur founder, Jena Covello who collaborated with Dr. Will Cole to merge cosmetics and nutrition in a supplement that’s unlike anything else on the market. You’ll find phytoceramides in there, which are proven to boost ceramide levels for plumper, smoother and more hydrated skin. Consistency is key – so make sure you take this daily, adding a scoop into a full glass of water or smoothie for best results.
